About FGN Land Charges
The Land Use Act authorizes the Federal Government to impose land charges, such as Ground Rent and other statutory fees, on federally owned lands across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Failure to comply may lead to sanctions on the affected properties as outlined in the law, and these will remain in effect until all outstanding taxes, penalties, and administrative fees are fully settled.
Each demand notice includes a unique Reference Code, which is all you need to make payments online, via designated POS terminals, or at commercial banks nationwide. Once payments are completed, receipts will be generated automatically, eliminating the need for customers to visit our office for payment clearance.
